Technical Fabricators is a manufacturer of metal stampings, custom fabrications,
sign enclosures, electrical enclosures, ground boxes and other assemblies. Our
knowledge in Electronic Integrations makes us an expert in manufacturing
electrical and mechanical enclosures. Our capabilities include, punching,
stamping, welding, bending, secondary operations, plastic injection molding,
thermal vacuum forming and assembly work. Our full machine shop also provides
many benefits to our customers, including mold and die maintenance, repair,
design and build.

Our employees have many years of experience in custom and
cosmetic fabricating. Collectively, we have over 50 years of experience in the
sheet metal and fabricating industry. Our welding
capabilities are second to none, specializing in cosmetic welding on a variety
of materials, including stainless steel and aluminum.
American Technical Fabricators is capable of fabricating small or large sign
enclosures, Dual Face enclosures, Front Access Sign enclosures, Ground Boxes,
Electrical enclosures and many other fabrications. Our equipment lets us hold
industry standard tolerances, including on anti-mar surfaces.

American Technical Fabricators produces small and medium size injection molded
plastic parts at the lowest possible cost.
We have in –house tooling capabilities that allows us to keep cost down. We are
able to maintain, repair, design, and build molds at your request.
We process most materials and they are available in a multiple of colors. We
will run any size order.
Thermal Vacuum Forming Equipment

We can vacuum form small to moderate sizes as well as multiple part pulls and
family forms. We also build forms and molds. American Technical Fabricators
offers a complete thermal vacuum forming service for prototyping or production
runs.
Vacuum forming is a traditional plastic manufacturing method that uses a special
vacuum forming machine and patterns. A pattern is made to represent the inside
surface of the object you wish to make. The plastic is then heated to a
temperature where it becomes very flexible. The plastic is then lowered over the
pattern and a
vacuum system pulls the plastic down tightly over the pattern. The formed piece
is then removed and trimmed.
It is an extremely cost-effective way to make multiple prototypes or small to
large production runs of thin-walled plastics. American Technical Fabricators
operates a high-end vacuum former with a maximum part size of 48” x 72”. The
draw depth, depending upon geometry, is around 20”. We can run a variety of
plastic materials and colors.
