American Technical
Fabricators History
American Technical Fabricators was formed in 2005
through the acquisition of a portion
of the manufacturing
equipment, tooling, and key inventory of Vultron,
Inc. As former employees and key personnel of
Vultron, the new company’s leaders and employees
had sales, operations, quality, and
administrative experience operating the Bad Axe,
MI facility as the manufacturing arm of the
former company for over 20 years.
The company then operated as a outsource manufacturer
for Vultron and other local
companies. After Vultron’s
parent company, Trans-Industries, dissolved
through the federal bankruptcy process, ATF
purchased all remaining key manufacturing,
tooling, inventory, computer and IT equipment,
furniture, and rights to support the existing
Vultron customer base. ATF continues to service
over 50% of Vultron’s customer base,
representing 25% of our annual revenue.
ATF has invested significantly in new equipment and
training over the last 5 years, and
now supplies products and
services to a variety of industries, including:
Electronic & LED Sign Manufacturers, Industrial
Machinery Manufacturers, Retail Fixtures and
Furniture Suppliers, Specialty Electronics
Manufacturers and Designers, Military and
Government Segments, Specialty & Industrial
Vehicle Component Suppliers and Customizers, and
Alternative Energy / Power Equipment
Manufacturing.
